The day after a wedding can often be quite sad for all but the happy couple. Last night the Tithe Barn at Great Fosters had been an exciting melange of celebrations and high spirits. This morning it had shed the excesses of the night before and resumed it's role as an empty, historic room.

As a Londoner I try and avoid Covent Garden at all costs, especially on the weekend. However, today the quickest route from A to B took us through tourist hell and we were completely amazed at the number of 'painted people' lining the pavement from the main square to Neal Street. I was even more amazed at the amount of money they appear to make. I reckon I'll hire a Napoleonic costume and stand on a box in Trafalgar Square.
